Cut-Off
There will be two cutoff times for the 50K runners.

Courses
All runs take place on rugged, single track trail with significant challenging climbs, incredible views, steep descents, large boulders, rocks, and desert vegetation. The courses offer a challenging but rewarding experience for all, from the beginning trail runner to the most experienced ultra marathoner. The 50km course is designed for EXPERIENCED TRAIL RUNNERS ONLY since they travel through a hazardous (but incredibly awesome) section of trail/wash down Ford Canyon. 50km participants will be required to execute some downhill rock scrambling over the famed "White Tank" rock formations. Aid Stations
Aid stations every 3-8 miles including water, electrolyte drink, sweet snacks, salty snacks, and fruit. Please plan to run with at least one bottle of water (two bottles for the 50km and Marathon).

Entry Fees
Coming Soon. All vehicles entering White Tank Mountain park will be required to pay a $6 park fee. Carpool to save! Enter by February 28, 2011 to guarantee a race shirt! Race day registration will be available.

Bib/Shirt Pickup

Will be available race week at RoadRunner Sports and on race morning at the park.

Drop Bags
A drop bag will be allowed for the 50K and marathon distance at the Black Canyon Aid Station (Mile 13.4). Drop bags will be brought to the Black Canyon Aid Station after the start of the 50K race. Look for the drop bag area near the start/finish line. All drop bags will be returned to the start/finish area by noon.

Awards
Awards to top male & female finishers at each distance. All 50km and Marathon finishers will receive a finisher's award!

Parking / Start Area
The start/finish line is located at the Group Campground on the North side of the park. Overflow parking will be available at the competitive track gravel parking lot approximately a 1/4 mile from the start/finish area. See the map below:


Camping
Camping is allowed at the group campground as well as the competitive track parking lot on Friday night. See the park entry station to pay for a camp spot. Cost = $10.

Proceeds
A portion of the race proceeds will benefit White Tank Mountain Regional Park

From central Phoenix, take I -10 west 18 miles to Hwy 303. North on Hwy 303 to Olive. West 4 miles on Olive to the White Tank Mountain Regional Park entrance.
