Once a gravel mine, which operated from the 1950's to 2001, Cornerstone Park now functions a community hub with sports areas, picnic spots, and walking trails. The scenic 31-acre pond is the centerpiece of Jackpot Ultras providing a pleasant backdrop throughout the duration of your race.

The Friday 100-mile USATF National Championship race will be run on a 1.17078 mile / 1.8842 kilometer USATF certified loop course. It is a quick loop around the lake and does not incorporate the varying terrain of the regular Jackpot course. It is run on 95% asphalt and/or concrete surfaces with just 5% crushed gravel paths. The course is specifically designed to give runners a chance to set records, achieve optimal results, etc.
Short course runners will have an alternate start line near the parking lot which will add 0.48285 miles / 0.7774 kilometers to the beginning of the race. After that they will complete 85 full loops.
Short Course Cutoff will be 48 Hours.

COURSE LIGHTING
The courses are fairly well lit at night for most of the courses, but there are some dark stretches where you'll likely want a headlamp or flashlight. We HIGHLY recommend bringing lights and extra batteries with you to the Jackpot Ultras.
MAIN AID
Our Main Strip Aid Station will be operated 24/7 around the clock. We will be serving several meals throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening. Food is reserved for the runners only.
AID STATION DIETARY OPTIONS
We do have vegan and vegetarian options for almost all meals, but it may not always be displayed. Please ask. We also are sensitive to gluten free diets as well. Runners will need to communicate with our aid station team any major allergy or dietary need we will do our best to ensure a positive race experience. The menu board at the main aid station is updated daily. We advise all runners to prepare supplemental foods or snacks for additional nutritional needs for restrictive diets.
CUPLESS RACE
To cut down on waste at Jackpot, we are a cupless race, so please plan on carrying a bottle or reusable cup if you would like to refill. Reusable cups are available for purchase at the store in the main staging area. We will have some hot cups for coffee and broth available, but encourage you to use your own mugs as well.
EXPRESS WATER LINE
An express water-fill station will be located just outside the main aid station for participants who need to fill their water bottles and wish to avoid the possible congestion of the main aid tent. Please use this at your convenience.
PACERS
Participants competing in the USATF 100 Mile National Championships is not permitted to have a pacer at any time.
CREW
There is plenty to do around the park! With close by restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, and coffee shops, everything you and your runner could need are just a short drive or walk away. Please reserve aid station items for the runners.
STAGING AREA
There is plenty of space in designated staging areas along the "Jackpot Strip" where you can setup tables, tents, and personal items along side the short course.
If you have reserved a tent, please check in to receive your camping tags at the registration tent.
THE JACKPOT STRIP
Along the main thoroughfare at Jackpot you will find a host of amenities for runners participating in the event. A point of reference will be "The Strip" Aid Station, where all food, drink and aid will be hosted under a large white tent.
Next to the Aid Station will be a water / hydration tent and as you enter from the parking lot, our Jackpot Store and Registration which will be the first stop for bib pickup and tent check-in. To the North of the Aid Station, we will have our warming tent we call Town Hall--a community tent to sit, rest, eat, and share throughout the event.
TOWN HALL
Town Hall is a 20 foot by 20 foot warming tent available for runners on The Jackpot Strip. chance A to get out of the cold, it's a great place for runners to sit and rest a while, chat with their fellow runners, drink a hot coffee, and charge their phones or music devices.
Town Hall will be situated North of the Aid Station. There will be chairs and tables in this shared community space. We will have a couple of communal cots here, but you should not post up with your own gear here. The cots setup here can be used, but for brief periods of time. Those will be on a first come first serve basis. The napping area will have a limited number of cots available for runners to get out of the cold and lay down to sleep for a few hours as needed.
Please observe the three hour maximum nap time so others may utilize the space. We ask that runners refrain from bringing any personal items inside the tent including luggage, camp gear, tents, and bedding. Runners may be allowed to use their sleeping bag or rent a sleeping bag from the store, but we ask once the runner vacates their cot to remove their sleeping bag. Race officials reserve the right to remove any personal items left behind. We ask also that runners please refrain from using the space as a changing area.
SHOWERS
We unfortunately do not have any shower facilities available at Cornerstone Park for the use of runners.
PETS
While dogs are allowed in Cornerstone Park on leash, we request that you keep them away from the course and any of our tents in the Jackpot Strip area including the warm tent and aid station. We love our pets, but for the safety of all runners we ask that you keep them off course.

The long course will feature an approximate 2.3094 mile / 3.71712 kilometer USATF certified course. The course itself resembles a "horseshoe" shape with two stretches where you will be running head on with other runners, providing a chance to see everyone out on course. While we certainly love running point-2-point ultras, short horseshoe loop ultras are very special in that you really get to know your fellow runners. You will be sharing the little course with world record holders, top elites, newbies, old-timers, etc. Soak it in and have fun getting to know your fellow Jackpot runners.
100 Mile Runners on Saturday will run 1 short loop and then 43 full regular course loops for a total distance of 100.489 miles.
50 Mile Runners will run 22 full regular course loops for a total distance of 50.814 miles.
Long Course 100 Mile Cutoff will be 30 Hours if you start with us at 8:00am Saturday. There is an early start option at 6:00am which will give you a 32 hour time limit.
Fixed time racers may elect to count partial laps if they reach one of three remote timing mats on course before time expires in their race.

All parking is on-site at Cornerstone Park. There are plenty of spaces for the number of entrants we have registered this year. You do not need a parking pass to access the parking lot.
RV PARKING
RV's are welcome, but we ask that you do not park in the first row. This poses a safety issue with visibilty ofthe lot and we want to reserve thefirst row for runners looking to crew out of their cars.

February is one of the wetter months for Henderson, with an average of around 0.5 inches of precipitation.

TIMING CHIPS & BIBS
Each participant will be issued a bib which should be worn at all times during your event. You must wear your bib in order to have your laps counted for the race. If you proceed to the track without a bib the timing system cannot count those missed laps. Please wear your bib on the front or back of your body over your clothing. If you plan on stopping early, please visit the timing tent to officially drop from the race. Live results will be available and we will post a link on our website prior to race day.
RACE DROP DOWNS
We do not allow runner drop downs in distances once races have started. If you want to drop down in distance please do so when you pickup your race bib prior to the event starting.
PARTIAL LAPS
For our fixed time races, you will be able to cross one of our three on course timing mats (crossed four times on the regular course) prior to time expiring on your race for an additional partial lap distance added to to your race.
We cannot produce these trail runs without the help of our amazing volunteer team. You can even help and run on race day. If you would like to join our volunteer team, we are looking for help with event setup, aid station captains, aid station helpers, timing, photography, videography, social media, course sweep and event breakdown. AWARD CEREMONY
We will have an awards ceremony at 10:00am on Saturday for our USATF 100 Mile Championships both overall podium & age group medals.
PRIZE PURSE

AWARDS
Runners who complete 200 miles in the 48 Hour race will receive a 200 mile belt buckle.
Runners who complete 100 miles in a 100 mile race, or a fixed time 24 or 48 hour race will receive a 100 mile belt buckle.
All other runners will receive a finisher medal.
The 1st, 2nd & 3rd place overall male & female in each race (fixed time and fixed distances) will also receive a custom award crafted and designed by Aravaipa Artworx.
Multiple race waves will be combined into one results (6 and 12 Hour)
