Race Director
Jubilee Paige of Aravaipa Running – “Proud to take the lead on Black Canyon, my passion for the outdoors is heightened in the organization of this premier Arizona trail running experience. Jamil Coury made this race reality in 2014 as the Black Canyon Coalition created the ultimate desert path through the foothills of the Bradshaw Mountains. It is my hope that every runner is as spell bound as I am by these beautifully rugged landscapes. With the amazing team at Aravaipa running, I aim to make the Black Canyon Ultras the gold standard in desert racing while injecting as much fun and excitement into this ultra experience.”

Communications
Maricopa County Emergency Communications Group provides race day communications as part of their commitment to serve public events. MCECG is about the safety of event staff, volunteers, participants, and the general public. Sometimes safety means helping to design a bicycle course that avoids unnecessary traffic hazards. Sometimes it means moving food or water to parched runners during the event. Sometimes it means keeping track of individual runners on isolated trails. And other times it means locating injured participants and getting medical aid to them quickly.
Medical
Medical for the Black Canyon 100K & 60K will be served by trained EMT’s and paramedics at our most key aid stations on race day provided by MEDSTAR Solutions.
